Policies
Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes provides the following for ALL events:
- Equipment used to make funnel cakes.
- Serving tables.
- Original old fashion funnel cake batter.
- Standard funnel cake toppings; powdered sugar, chocolate, strawberry, and caramel syrups, and whipped cream. (unless additional services have been agreed upon)
- Paper goods including plates, napkins, and forks used to serve funnel cakes.
- Ice cream can be provided for any private event at an additional cost of $1.00 per scoop per guest count.
Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes does not negotiate rates and prices for private events. All prices and packages are set, however, additional hours can be added to any package. We can negotiate fundraiser percentages and/or vendor fees based on the needs of the organization but this must be agreed upon by all parties prior to the event.
PAYMENTS
- Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes accepts PayPal, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Cash.
TRANSPORTATION POLICY
- Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes can travel to events throughout the Griffin and Atlanta areas. However, any event 25 miles or more from starting location of zip code 30223 will be assessed a mileage charge of $25.00 plus .50 cents per mile.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- A date for a private event cannot be held without a deposit of 50% (or half) of the event price and a signed Service Agreement. Service Agreements are provided by Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes. The remaining balance owed to Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes is due at the time of the event. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes must be provided at least one (1) week notice for all events. Any event booked within the same week will be assessed a $50.00 RUSH fee and require the entire balance to be paid in full prior to your event.
- Events cancelled will be assessed a $100.00 cancellation fee and the remaining amount of the deposit will be refunded within 7 to 10 business days.
- Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes reserves the right to refuse or deny service for a public or private event without cause.
PRIVATE EVENTS
- ALL private events are booked through our website.
- Before you book an event please check the online calendar for the availability of your desired date or call the business contact number. (678-644-6408)
- ALL private event payments are FULL payments. We do not take deposits for our private events.
- Before you complete your online order please provide the following info into the “NOTES” section. Address of event, Start & end time of event, Point of Contact, Any important info we need to know before arrival.
- If you cancel a private event a week before the actual date, you are only permitted to receive back HALF of your payment. Please Note: That date was specifically reserved and prepared for your event. Many other customers may have inquired about that SAME date and time so we must account for that scheduling loss.
- The “Point of contact” should be ready to direct the food truck on where to park and serve upon arrival.
- If the package deal that was purchased goes OVER the selected amount of funnel cakes originally ordered then each funnel cake after that will be charged at market price.
- Please be mindful that the flavors you select in your package deal is the ONLY flavors we will be serving to your guest. So please take your time when selecting your desired flavors.
- ONLY PLATES are used to serve our products at PRIVATE EVENTS. If you are requesting to-go-boxes please contact company representative to make such request. (Topitofffun@yahoo.com or 678-644-6408)
SALES GOAL AGREEMENT CONTRACTORS
- A sales goal agreement contract is another form of payment that Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes accepts.
- This contract provides the establishment/ person with the SERVICE of the food truck, while it is the responsibility of the customer to pay the full amount for their product.
- There is $350 booking fee that must be PAID in full 10 days BEFORE the day of the event.
- This booking fee is simply securing the food truck for your event. Please note that there may be many customers inquiring about the same date and if you decided to CANCEL. This is similar to a recovery fee.
- The $350 booking fee is NON- REFUNDABLE.
- The establishment or (person who booked the food truck) has to GUARANTEE us 80-100 single sales in order for us to meet our sales goal for that day.
- If the goal is NOT MET, then it is the responsibility of the establishment/ person who booked the food truck to pay the difference of the sales goal agreement at the end of the event.
- The Sales Goal Agreement MUST BE SIGNED and RETURNED to Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes, LLC before the date of your event is SECURED.
- ALL Sales Goal Agreements must be signed and returned to Topitofffun@yahoo.com
- It is at the DISCRECTION of Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes to decide how many flavors they will serve this type of event.
- ONLY PRIVATE EVENTS can select specific flavors.
WEATHER CLAUSE
- Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes, LLC has recently implemented a ” weather clause” As a mobile food truck, MOST if not ALL our events are outdoors. We understand that the weather can also be very unpredictable and will affect the outcome of the event. Many times we have ALREADY started prepping or purchasing inventory for your event.
- If you happen to cancel your event due to inclement weather Top it OFF, Funnel Cakes will not reimburse any funds for your private event, however we accept rescheduling for a later date.
- If this event is under a “Sales Goal Agreement” and you cancel your event, due to inclement weather the establishment or person who booked us will be responsible to pay our “weather clause fee” $250.0
- These fees will be included in your original contract.
